Also ran a scan with engine running, no change - just DME and EGS are scanned. I am using the ODBII connection under the dash, tried with key in position 2. But I can't scan all the modules on my 2000 540i! Just the DME and EGS modules (the first two) are scanned, the rest are attempted during the scan with no output. I have BMWscanner 1.4 running fine on my laptop, was able to scan and reprogram some modules on my E46 no issue. Need help - BmwScanner 1.4 partial scan of 2000 540i
